Flourless Cookies, Lobsters, and Science

For holiday presents this year, I made three kinds of cookies - flourless, sugar, and gingerbread - but with a twist. I added science. And lobsters.

These are the flourless cookies (they're a darker brown color in real life, though).

Mini Pies

Hello again!



For the last day of Japanese class, a classmate and I made mini pies in cupcake tins. We baked them in her dorm's kitchen, which has laundry machines in it!

My roommate and I made over fifty cupcakes. They're chocolate, with cream cheese frosting (we probably should have used buttercream, but now I know for next time).

Chocolate Chip Cookies

I made chocolate chip cookies today. I forgot to take pictures!

I guess that means that I need to bake more, right?

Girl Meets Oven

My dorm building has an oven. It's the smallest oven I've ever seen, it runs cold, and it's in a deserted room in a tiny kitchen, but it's an oven.



I made flourless cookies in it and brought them to Japanese class on Friday.

They were delicious.

We will meet again.
